Hello Everyone, I have been hanging around hoping someone would post something about these two surnames. I have a James WHITE d. abt. 1843 South Branch who I would like to know his parents and have no clue how he got to Hampshire Co. His first son's given name was Isaac White. His other children's names were Mary E. Sarah C. Virginia and Luke. He married Elizabeth ROBINSON 1823. The ROBINSON's I connect to her are John, Mary (don't know if this is a sister, wife) Lucinda and William ROBINSON. Isaac named his children (in case there is a naming pattern) 1st wife Margaret JACOBS....Mary C.; Ella B. (Bell) Charles E., Anna Elizabeth; 2nd wife..Mary E. MARTIN .Ina Montresa Rachel; Jesse Melvin; Clarence Earl; Walter E.; Francis I. (daughter); George T (Tobias I think) James Clifford; and Martha Gertrude. Someone at the WV Culture History Center suggested I search Augusta also. I have REV papers for a James WHITE m. to GIBSON. No parents given even for him. Thank you, Tootsie Shoemaker T.
