I am descended from Robert Poague/Elizabeth Preston's son Thomas Poage who married Agnes McClanahan (daughter of Robert and Sarah) on April 27, 1762. Their daughter Mary (Polly) Poague married Thomas Wilson and their daughter Agnes is my great great grand mother. Does this connect? Many years ago I did field work for my master's thesis on urban geography in Londonderry without a clue at the time that my ancestors came from there.
