    3. There is a North Mountain in Rockingham County--which used to be a part of Augusta County--you may want to check there. 3. Thank you. The county changes are something I need to explore - including Rockingham. Do you think some the records for early 1800 may be there? ----- Original Message ----- From: "Deb Wake" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, September 09, 2004 5:02 AM Subject: Re: [VAAUGUST] Matching Land Records to Census Records, for a Name > There is a North Mountain in Rockingham County--which used to be a part of > Augusta County--you may want to check there. > > Deb Wake > Richmond, VA > > At 05:56 PM 9/8/2004, you wrote: > >Query- I am researching WEHRLY over 4 generations, from Codorus Township, > >York County, PA to Augusta County, VA to Preble County, Ohio. 3. Rockingham County was formed in 1778. I checked the 1810 census records and did not find your Henry Wehrly; there was a John Warely and an Andrew Warely. I also checked but did not find anything in: Priode, Marguerite B.. Abstracts of Executor, Administrator, and Guardian Bonds of Rockingham County Virginia 1778-1864. 1978. Reprint, Dayton, VA: Harrisonburg-Rockingham Historical Society, 1993. Deb Wake Richmond, VA At 01:13 PM 9/9/2004, you wrote: >Thank you.
