Ellen d. of cancer on 29 May 1871 in Union, Monroe Counter, WV. At the time of her marriage, her father, John, was deceased. Permission for marriage was given by her brother, Bailes B. GLOVER who m. Ruth J. BOSTIC on 30 Nov 1829 in Monroe County, VA. According to census records, their father John GLOVER was b. in MD between 1760 and 1770. He d. between 30 Nov 1829 and 5 June 1837.
