It has been suggested to me that Ann Elliot, dau. of William (d. 1771 Aug. Co) & Jane Clark Elliot, was married to a Paul Dupais. Can anyone confirm this? Since the Ann Elliot who was the dau. of James & Ann Armstrong Elliot has been identified as the one who married Robert Kincaid, I am at a loss to place the Ann Elliot who married William Kincaid (d 1794 Jackson River). I had thought it might be William/Jean Clark Elliot since William/Anne Kincaid did have a 1st dau. named Jean. There is a James Elliot in the immediate Jackson River neighborhood, along side of Kincaids who eventually show up next to James Elliot on Anthony Creek.. Any help in straightening the Elliots out would be appreciated.
