    3. Mickey, John and Polly (Thompson) Caperton had a son Adam born ca 1753. I have Adam md to Elizabeth Miller a daughter of Jacob Miller Sr. and Elizabeth Fudge. I don't know about Alexander, he was a witness to a deed for John and Polly Caperton who purchased a tract of land in 1755 in the Beverly Manor tract of Augusta Co, Va. What do you know of Alexander Thompson? This makes me have two lines of Thompson in Augusta County. Who is John T. Thompson? Is he connected to Alexander? 3. Hello All: I am tracking James Thompson & his wife Senior Temperance 'Tempe' (Mooney) Thompson who lived in and around Augusta County. I have him in Albermarle County and Louisa County, and most likely in Monroe & Greenbrier Counties of WV. He came to Ohio in 1816 with my gt.gt.gd.fa. John Gray who was married to James & Tempe's daughter Susannah. Sure would like to sort out the James Thompson's of that area. There was also a Captain James Thompson there about the same time but am not sure that is my James.
