    1. Youngs & Glenns to Grbr

    3. It would West Miller with an s. He shows up in Greenbrier Co. on Indian Creek (n side near what is now Greenville, Monroe Co. WVA) next to a John Miller. I believe some of Agnes' brothers show up in the 2nd Creek/Sinks area of present Monroe Co. Actually I could use some help with these families (connecting them into the Glenn & Young families of Augusta. (There are a David & James Glenn in Albemarle in the 1760's. Do they connect to the George Glenn who was son-in-law to James Young d 1790 Aug. Co.?). The following appear to be the children of George Glenn. (d. 1801 Aug. Co. children: Agnes wife of West Miller, James, William, Sarah wife of Robert Young, Martha, Hugh, Nancy, Mary wife of Sam Curry). Who are the Youngs they are intermarrying with? 1791 Henry & Nancy Douglas 44a in Sinks near 2nd Creek to James Glenn. 1793. Rbt. McCullock of Aug. Co. 400a to James Young of Greenbrier & William Young of Augusta Co. Land adj. Mathew Gwinn, Danial Terry, Henry Douglas, Richard Humphries. Witnesses: James Glenn, Robert Young, Hugh Glenn, Robert Curry. 1793 Grbr. will of Samuel Brown. Mother, bros: Alex, John, Wm. sisters: Margaret, Sally, Martha Dorthe, Mary Nelson wintnessess: James Glenn, James Young, Margaret Glenn. the will was proved by James & Margaret Glenn. Morton in the geneological section of the "History of Monroe Co." (note Morton's bios & geneologies are not always correct) says the Young family arrived in the Sinks area about 1788. James Young m Susan Dickson, Rbt Young d 1815 m Sarah Glenn 1792, Wm m Susanna Clark 1788, Margaret Young m James Glenn. Of Andrew, Sarah & Lydia no record is found. Morton thinks they may be the sons of William & Jean Young who lived on Hans Creek (near present Greenville, Monroe Co. WVA). William d. 1802 mentioning in his will son James, and daughters: Sarah, Elizabeth, Jean Cook and Nancy Kincaid. I am not sure this is correct. Does anyone have any suggestions as to who this William Young is? Nancy is the wife of John Kincaid. They move to Campbell Co. TN in about 1802. In about 1810 they have as Campbell Co. neighbors James (son of James & Margaret Miller of Wolf Creek & Indian Creek Monroe Co.) & Elizabeth (dau. of Andrew Kincaid d 1810 GrBr). James may be the cousin of West Miller above. Andrew Kincaid lived in the Sinks area of present Monroe Co. during the late 1780's before moving to Anthony Creek in present GrBr Co.
