Caroline Black 2/3/1852 <THIS Johnson, I have a Complete Record of him By A G. G. Grand Daughter in Rockbridge County Va. #- 6 Sophia Johnson b. 1832 M Cliborne Tucker #- 7 George Rodney Johnson M Nancy Ellen Mitchell, There were 1 Daughter & 6 Sons. The Daughter Sallie Lee Johnson Married 1st John J. Wilmer, There were three Girls. <ONE died Young> Through daughter Ora Lee Wilmer They were My Grt Grand Parents. Grand Pa John Died in 1881 & Grand Ma Married John's Double 1st Cousin & George Wilmer, From this Union there were 5 Children. My Cousins from the Descendants Of G. G/ Grand Pa George Rodney Johnson & Nancy Ellen Mitchell That I am in contact with Beard, Johnson, Hulse, Jennings, Fergson, Pryor, Sale, Davis Now I am Hoping that there are Some more of the Descendants of George Rodney & Nancy Ellen Mitchell Will see this & Contact Me Along with Cousins from the Other Members of Our GREAT Grand Parents <Stephen Johnson & Elizabeth Perry. #- 8 Stephen Gordon Johnson M. Now I have just received some information, abt A bit of difference of opinion About Slavery in the Johnson Family in VA____?? That one OF the Family Moved to OHIO, AND as Grt Grand Pa Stephen Johnson's Family was Born in the Time Frame & With Grt Grand Pa George Rodney, & Uncle Lawson & Uncle Stephen Gordon Having been in the Civil war, IT IS so very Likely That this Difference of Opinion ABT Slavery Could have been in this Family.
