Dear Listers: I am trying to find the ancestors of a William Gregory b. @1797 in VA or KY who married a Frances Long and might be the brother to a James Gregory b. @1780. They are both supposed to be the sons of John Gregory and Elizabeth Castor possibly of Augusta County, along with another brother David Gregory b. 1801. William and James both ended up in Vinton County, Ohio with their families. John Gregory is supposed to be descended from a Naphthalum Gregory one of the first to come over in the mid-1700s.
