    3. I recently purchased a set (3 volumes) for the Gallia County Historical & Genealogical Society (Gallipolis, Ohio) and I got them from Amazon.com the price was $110.00. I purchased a set about 5 years ago for myself and the cost was $150.00 and it was worth every cent. When you go to Amazon your can find them on their search area by typing either Chronicles of the Scotch-Irish or Lyman Chalkely. I have loaned mine out at the present time to a cousin. I have never researched a library that didn't have a copy of these books so if you choose not to purchase them you will have no problem finding them at a library.
