This isn't going to be of direct help but may provide another angle. I found the 1787 and 1788 Augusta Tax Lists at the Dallas Public Library a few years ago. I have hard copies of the pages I needed in the attic. I don't remember the Title or Author so I'm not much help here, but again the Tax Lists had been put into book form. If you have a major library I'd suggest checking the card catalog. My Bodkin started on the Bullpasture River (just west of the Cowpasture/Calf Pasture) in 1746 then moved north to the BlackThorne (now southern Pendleton) in 1764. They were on the 1787/1788 tax list on the BlackThorne in Charles Cameron's District. The lists showed the acreage and tax district but not a breakdown of each household. There are delinquent tax lists that are separate from the others. Look around for these as well.
