Does anyone know of or have access to records that might help me verify the source of this record? I am also trying to verify the child's correct first name. Most likely this child died in Rockbridge County, slight possibility that is was Augusta County. Child named Harvey or Henry died August 13, 1858 "died of Gravel, at age 11 yr, 6 mo, s/o Henry V & R. You will find that information in the death register for Rockbridge Co. 1853-1870. This book is located in the clerk's office at the Rockbridge Co. courthouse. The same information appears in a book compiled by Angela Ruley in 1991. The book is entitled Rockbridge County, Va death register 1853-1870 death register 1912-1917. This book is no longer in print. The information is on page 77 and the child's name is Henry M.
