Cyrus' father was Branchford or Bransford Mays. This Mays family previously lived in Amherst County; they are listed in the 1860 and 1870 census of Augusta County. Cyrus died on June 30, 1904 and was buried in the Mt. Carmel Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Steeles Tavern, Va. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much.
