Hi all. I am looking for a fairly recent obituary. The deceased name was Pamela J. Corbin. She was born 11 Sept 1961 and died 27 Aug 1999 in Staunton, VA. Thanks in advance for any help or leads. Ellen Lewin

Pamela Jean Corbin, 37, of 203 Hall Street, died Friday morning (August 27 1999) at the Universicy of Virginia Hospital. A daughter of Frank E. Kolosky and Nancy Jane Lawson, she was born Sept. 11, 1961 in Philadelphia, Penn. She was a member of Goose Creek Bapt. Church, Goose Creek, S.C. She was Past President of the PTA at Bessie Weller Elementary School, a former Foster parent, Fresh Air Parent, a wonderful mother and loving wife. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Michael A. Corbin of Staunton, her step-father, Marshall Lawson; a son, Michael A. Corbin, II of Staunton; a brother Frankie Kolosky, Jr of Fla; 3 sisters; Tina Lawson Dean of S.C., Glenda Nicole Kolosky and Brandy K. Kolosky, both of Fla.; 2 borthers-in-law, Richard Corbin and wife Ok-Cha, and Billy Corbin and wife, April; her father-in-law, Richard Corbin and mother-in-law, Frances Corbin of Staunton; a number of nieces and newphews; special friends, Eddie and Kelly Holland, Mike and Tammy Hogle, Bill and Lori Lipscomb, Penny Flavin, George Allison, Frank Johnson,and many others. A service will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday at Hamrick Funeral Home conducted by Rev. A.T. Underwood and Rev. Gene D. Cheek. Burial will be in Thornrose Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Eddie Holland, Bill Lipscomb, George Allison, Dennis Snyder, Casey Bosserman, and Mike Hogle. The family will receive friends fromn 7 to 8 p.m. Sunday evening at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made tothe First Church of the Nazarene, 1307 W. Beverely Street, Staunton 24401, or the Cystic Fibrosis Fondation, 6931 Arlington road Bethesda MD 20814.
