    1. [VAAUGUST] Need help
    2. I have a list of the militia in 1742 that includes a Sam Calehison and a list of people who were processioned in 1755 that includes many of the list of 1742 along with James Callison. Since I don't have access to the original militia list, I am thinking of the possibility that Sam Calesone is really Jam. Callison. All these names per Chalkley. There is not another CALEHISON in any of the 3 Volumes of Chalkley. I know that James Callison got his land in the Beverley Patent in 1749 but there are some on the 1742 list who also got land in that area in 1749 -- e. g. William McClintock. I have not finished checking the others but wanted to know if anyone had knowledge of any of these men in 1742 who did not get their land until later? Any help appreciated on info on any of these men from 1742 or 1755. Thanks, Marilyn Hansen Page 538.--27th February, 1749. Beverley to William McClintock, 360 acres in Beverley Manor, cor.
