    3. Hi Joyce -- I received one answer, to date -- sorry, I thought it had gone to the list. Anyhow, here's the general idea. The Ulster Scots (or Scotch-Irish, as they are often -- and erroneously -- called) evidently lived up and down the length of the Shenandoah Valley. The respondent didn't list any particular cities, but suggested that the Ulster Scots probably settled certain towns, German immigrants others. However, I don't know what those towns settled by the Scots might be. Let's hope someone else out there will see this posting, and educate both of us!! Can anyone out there help us??? And if so, would you please post to the list, so that we can all share the information. Thanks!!
