When George Blakemore died in 1844, his will included his request to be "interred in the burial grounds at Mossy Creek Cem. works". Another researcher has a copy of his Bible that says he was buried in the Miller Cemetery on Mossy Creek. I have been unable to find any reference to the location of this cemetery. Is it still in existence today under another name? Reading the handwritten copy of the settlement of the estate of George Blakemore, there are several lines where the letters "a/c" appear after the names of people who received a cash settlement from the estate. Also, on several lines it reads " his a/c on widows order". Does anyone know what these terms are referring to? Thanks in advance for any help. Gary R.
