The following query was posted to the Augusta County Query Page on Fri Mar 12 17:57:15 1999 PLEASE ADRRESS YOUR REPLY TO: paultripp_gen@hotmail.com (Paul Tripp) Levin Benson, 1755-1835, enlisted in rev war from Augusta county, in 1774, 1776 and 1781. He married Jane Hickman 10 Aug 1779. Place unknown. He likely stayed Augusta county until about 1787. Then he immigrated to Greenbrier county VA/WV. I am looking for his father, mother, more accurate list of children. I have William, 1780; John, 1785; Samuel, 1786; Levin jr., 1795; George, 1797; and Thomas, 1800.
