Earman being listed as the sister to William Fauber is what really threw me. This is almost too complicated to explain, but......I THOUGHT Mary Earman's maiden name was GEARHART, but unless her mom got married a second time to a FAUBER, Mary having a brother with the surname of Fauber just doesn't work out. Then William would really be a step-brother to Mary and the census doesn't say that. It could be too, that the census taker just got it wrong.
