It is presumed that he had an indentured servant named John NICKELL from Ulster, Ireland. John NICKELL (we think) married one of John LEWIS'S daughters prior to his marrying Barbara MCCOMBE. If anyone has any information or any leads that I could check on this marriage I would greatly appreciate some help. Children from the John NICKELL/LEWIS marriage are: John b 1738, d 1807, m Sarah ERWIN 1760; Thomas b 1740, d 1807, m Jane KING 1760; Elizabeth b 1748, d 1808, m William Daniel CRAIG 1764; Joseph b 1750, d 1829, m Elizabeth FOWLER 1770; Isaac b 1752, d 1839, m Margaret CURRY 1775.
