I am part of research group for the Craycraft family line. This name has many variations in spelling... Cracraft, Cracroft, Crecraft, Crecroft Craycroft, Craycraft, Creacraft, Creacroft and probably some I haven't seen yet! Has anyone on this board come across this family in their searching? They started out in Maryland with Joseph Craycraft and Ann (Stanton?) ; Joseph was born 1706 in Lincolnshire, England. Their children were: Joseph b. 1738 in MD Samuel b. 1740 in VA William b. 1740 in MD, died in Bath Co., KY Charles b. 1746 in VA Sarah b. 1747, died in Fleming Co., KY Thomas b. 1750-1 in KY - in Mason Co.
