Sarah A. is married to John Brown. The Elders are older, apparently children of Sarah, who may have been married before, or may have had children out of wedlock. Or there may be no connection. Up pops the IGI of Robert Elder, s/o Mr. Elder (taa-taa... supergeniuses no?) BUT! It said the correct birth year of 1848, and it said Campbell County! A significant possibiliity! Excited, I hop to Rootsweb to sign on to the Campbell County Site! Guess what? Yup. There is none. No list either. And I already operate two lists, and haven't the time, and am always near burnout. I volunteer lookups in a number of places, including Philadelphia! So you know why I am near burnout. Can anyone find any glimmer of hope for me in all of this? It is my wife's father's line. Her grandmother was Ida Catherine Elder, married George H. Davis and lived in Rockbridge. Robert C. Elder had married Nannie J. Little (I believe Cornelia was who Nannie was), and moved to Rockbridge. Anxious to hear from someone... Thanks, Vince
