He was born 1706 in Germany and died about 1777 in Augusta County. The family name was later spelled KUNCE when son Nicholas resided in Frederick County, Virginia. The family moved to Orange County, North Carolina and eventually by the end of the 18th century to Eastern Tennessee. Does anyone have any information about this family?
