Does anyone recognize this surname: TERRELL? (Sorry if I spelt it with one L in the subject field.) Apparently Sarah Jane (Terrell) Elder, w. of Robert C. Elder, Sr., and mother of Mollie F. Elder and Robert C. Elder, Jr., remarried. She remarried John Brown. He was 12 years older than she. In the 1870 Census, he is 36, she 48. They had an 11 year old daughter Sarah Brown, circumstantial evidence of the remarriage. So, in review: Please help me with: TERRELL, ELDER, BROWN of Augusta County. I should mention that the TERRELL name as well as the ELDER name seem to be from Campbell County. Vince
