Both were born in VA. R. J. married widow Clintonia Bacon Samuel MC DONALD in 1867. The family went to VA for an unknown period of time after Civil War. Sibert was a cotton broker in partnership with W.G.M.Samuel in later years and the company is found in Dallas, TX records. C. B. McDonald-Sibert's son went to school in STAUNTON according to family records. His name was John Stewart McDonald. He later married Julia STRUBLE, whom he may have met in VA. Thank you.
