I'm new to this list. I was born and raised in Nicholas County, WV and now live in the Sunny South (North central FL) My lines which some originated in or near Augusta Co., VA: William BELL who m. Mary CRAWFORD 03-Mar-1796 in Augusta Co. Other lines that were in, around or through Augusta were: HEVENER, PENNINGER, HOOVER and maybe SIRK/KIRK/ZIRK.
