Okay, business first. My Augusta County surnames are: KIMSEY McCLURE McINTIRE GREGG and possibly REED CATHEY. As for squirrel recipes, and since we DO seem to be in the summer doldrums right now -- I think how our ancestors lived, including what they ate, is part and parcel of genealogy. I have some old cookbooks from my grandmothers and from my great-grandmother, that give several squirrel recipes, which I'll gladly share should anyone be interested (contact me off-list, since we don't want to offend those who consider genealogy a name and a date only). Not having tried the recipes myself, I can't vouch for their flavor, or even their edibility, so if you don't like 'em, don't blame me!!! Judy
