Just saw the posting that Debbie Cox put on line concerning FRONTIER FORTS of SOUTHWEST VIRGINIA. Under the title "GIBSON'S FORT" could it be possible that the Isabella and Robert Gibson mentioned as being the parents of George Gibson born County Cork, Ireland in 1732, married Elizabeth Smith ca. 1776 of Agusta Co.
