Does anybody know the maiden names (with sources, please) of the following women found in the 1860 Bath county census? I have checked Bath county marriage records and am in the process of checking marriages in surrounding counties, but thought I'd check with fellow researchers also, since it seems like one of you must have these people in your files! (I've also checked Morton's History of Highland co. online for leads.) BOON, Anness, wife of Mark, born in England abt 1825, married (possibly in England) abt 1850 CRISER, Mary, wife of David, b. abt 1810, md. bef 1839 FAWCETT, Elizabeth, wife of Albert, b. abt 1821, md. 1850-1860 LEWIS, Catherine, b. abt 1825, wife of James b. abt 1799, married abt 1849 McCHESNEY, Sarah G., wife of Dr. Alexander G., born abt 1837, married abt 1855 MED(D)INGS, Elizabeth, wife of Patrick H., b. abt 1819, md. 1838-1850 PUTMAN, Sarah, wife of Fuller, b. abt 1797, md. 1813-1820 RIDER, Jane/Jenny E., wife of James K., b. abt 1808 in Pocahontas, md. abt 1832 (not in Poca. marriage records) SHELTON, Sarah, wife of Henry, b. abt 1809, md. abt 1824 SHELTON, Lucy, wife of William, b. abt 1830, md. abt 1849 SHIELDS, Susan, wife of William W., b. abt 1823, married 1850-1860. William was previously married abt 1834 to a wife who died before 1850. I suspect that either his first wife or Susan was a Mann or a McClintic. TERRILL, Rachel, wife of William H., b. abt 1811, married between 1850 and 1860 if this is his 2nd marriage, or before 1840. In the 1850 census, his wife is Elizabeth and she is about 6 yrs older than Rachel, so I'm not sure if they are the same wife; I suspect that Elizabeth died and Wm. H. remarried to Rachel abt 1857.
