Does anyone perchance have info concerning Joseph McDonald-McDaniel-McDonnell in the 1750's - 1760's of frontier VA? Please note that 'my' Joseph was apparently *not* the Joseph McD-- listed in many entries of Chalkey's Chronicles. 'This' Joseph McDonald was son of Bryan McDonald Sr. of the Beverly Manor settlement area of frontier VA (present Botetourt Co. VA.) For general information, since Chalkey's work for early Augusta Co. VA *excluded* the Northern Neck land grant area, people who were living in the South Branch area of present Hampshire County WV, and most of Hardy County WV, would generally not be found in Chalkey's Chronicles.
