Hello, I don't know if this will be of use to anyone ... but a few years ago I bought an old ledger at a flea market. It wasn't in all that good a shape, but being involved in genealogy, and seeing all the names listed, I couldn't resist buying it (even though none of my ancestors are from Augusta). It has to do with some School Fund, I think, for the years 1886-1890. Probably too late for many of the people on this list. I'm pretty sure Augusta is where it's from. I'm 'auctioning' it off on ebay. You can get a better description of it at: <http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=69625452> Of course, don't use the arrows on the ends (< >) There's no index and a ton of names, so I can't do look ups. But just in case the book gets into the hands of a non-genealogist, I've had the pages with the names filmed (the film would fit on a microfilm reel). If someone can give me the name of a Historical Society or whatever in Stauntion or Augusta county, I'd send the film there and maybe they could do look ups. Or maybe whoever buys the book would do some look ups. Anyway, good luck with your genealogy, G.T. Bishop
