In 1829 he moved with his wife Martha H. <surname unk> to Pike Township, Clark Co. OH. Augusta Co. info: 1820 census, Charles BAILEY, 2 males aged under 10, 1 male aged 26-45 (Charles), 1 female aged 26-45 (Martha), 1 person naturalized (prob. Charles). Exact place and date of marriage unknown. Known children: Templeton Wilson BAILEY, b. 24 Dec 1819 Augusta Co. VA, m. Nancy COX 1843 Greene Co. OH; Louisa BAILEY, b. VA, married John SPENCE circa 1844 Greene Co. OH; possib. James R. BAILEY, b. VA, m. Lavina BRENDLE circa 1849 Clark Co. OH. Templeton Wilson is one of the two males "under 10" in the 1820 census; James R. may be the other (NOTE: Charles BAILEY from Augusta Co. is not to be confused with Charles CABANISS BAILEY, m.
