I'm looking for any information that might lead me to my gggg grandparents. Andrew W. Ailer traveled to southern Ohio (Hocking co., then to Ross co.) in the late 1820's. There, in 1829, he married Hannah Legg. These people are my ggg grandparents. According to the US Census records Andrew was born in VA in 1800 (presumably in Augustus County) and his parents were of foreign birth. I recently came across a marrage record (Augustus County Marriages, 1748-1850 by Vogt & Kethley) that lists a George Ailer & Mary Tanner married Apr. 22, 1791.
