Okay - I'm sure you've seen the notes going around about Ancestry.com adding more military and it being free until 6/6 - BUT what I just found out! is that the Revolutionary War files are now linked to NARA microfilm!!!! granted the one I'm looking at has 739 images and it just dumps you at the beginning of the reel. I am looking for information on grandparents of Charles Barnett Woods and David Clinton Woods. Samuel Hiram Woods was their father b. June 1822 Shenandoah VA and died 1902 Logan, OK. He married 5 Oct. 1842 to Sarah Cathey Santmyers. The boys were born in Hampshire Co, VA I think Charles was born 17 Aug. 1843 died 2 April 1911 on homestad near Wauconda, WA.
