    2. John and Barbara Ekiss
    3. I need some help and am hoping some one of you has some experience. I have a deed with those metes and bounds descriptions of when 200 acres was purchased. I have a deed when the same land is sold - but 280 acres. I can see in this 2nd deed some of the same boundaries as when he bought. But I can not draw out the plat of either the 200 or the 280 acres and get 'to the beginning'. If a mountain or river or something were in the area where it doesn't not connect wouldn't the deed mention meandering or some such to indicate connection? Any ideas or help greatly appreciated. Barb

    1. [VAAUGUST-L] BIBY Surname in 18801890 Augusta Co Census
    2. Biller
    3. Would anyone be so kind to look up the BIBY entries for the 1880 and 1890 Augusta County Census'. I've been told by several people that my Great-great-grandfather, Henry Thomas BIBY (b.1855), is listed. He should be 25 years old in 1880. Should be listed with wife, Mary Catherine (also 25yrs), and possibly an infant son, Charlie. In 1890, he would have added 2 sons - Emory Clifford & William R. BIBY (age 3-4), and a dau. Mary (Molly) Rachel BIBY (age 5-6). Thanx ! http://www.familytreemaker.com/users/b/i/l/Norlan-B-Biller/

To everybody who doesn't already know this: The 1860 Augusta census can be searched online at: http://jefferson.village.Virginia.EDU/vshadow2/govdoc/au.census1860.html Make sure you capitalize the first letter of the name you search for; this search IS case-sensitive. Another tip: after you find your person, make a note of the dwelling & family number of their household. Then return to the search page, clear the name boxes, and type in the dwelling and family numbers in the appropriate boxes at the bottom of the page and search - that will show you everybody in the household, including those with different surnames, which is useful for getting in-laws and children from previous marriages. For a better explanation of this virus worm, which is real but not explained well here, go to http://www.Norton.com/us.index.html where you should find a better explanation - the bottom line is not to open anything labeled "Happy99" - that means just delete it if you see that subject line.
