Do any of you Frazer researchers have an intermarriage with Finley? I have William Frazier m. Jean/Jane Finley in 1794 in Augusta County. Here are my notes on them: !Inherited lot in Waynesboro from father in 1807 (Augusta County WB 10:172). Marriage from Chalkley II:310; Saml. Finley, surety; [most likely her brother]. The Fraziers moved to Bourbon County, KY about 1796, near Paris. In 1806, they moved on to Greene County, OH because they were opposed to slavery (from Barnes and Barnes - see record of sister, Margaret Hutchison). ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Carmen J. I am part of research group for the Craycraft family line. This name has many variations in spelling... Cracraft, Cracroft, Crecraft, Crecroft Craycroft, Craycraft, Creacraft, Creacroft and probably some I haven't seen yet! Has anyone on this board come across this family in their searching? They started out in Maryland with Joseph Craycraft and Ann (Stanton?) ; Joseph was born 1706 in Lincolnshire, England. Their children were: Joseph b. 1738 in MD Samuel b. 1740 in VA William b. 1740 in MD, died in Bath Co., KY Charles b. 1746 in VA Sarah b. 1747, died in Fleming Co., KY Thomas b. 1750-1 in KY - in Mason Co. Any input is greatly appreciated! Sue
Hi All, could someone check the marriages for these two. 1860 Susan Harris age 35 m Andrew Agner. Also, can you confirm that Susans parents were Robert and Sarah Harris? Does anyone know if there are church records in Augusta for 1750-1810? I am looking for birth and marriage records for Blake and Donaghe/Donoho (18 variations so far) for this time period. Anything would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Chester R. Johnson Hurst, TX

Hello, Please forgive the cross-posting, but I feel that several county and area lists in Virginia will benefit from this. I just discovered a wealth of information available from the VMI website, with regard to the Civil War resources they have available. Included are some old class lists. I found one of my names on the list for 1852. The address is: http://www.vmi.edu/~archtml/cwsource.html -- Happy Hunting, Mary Taffet (daughter of a VMI alumnus) mdtaffet@syr.edu
If you have a county mailing list, please forward this website to the list: http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/pensions/civilwar/va/vavol.htm The page should be self-explanatory. If not, my e-mail address is there. :) Thanks! Linda
