I have NO documented proof of this, however I am pretty sure I'm correct. James Jr wouldn't have had a son James Jr - he would have been the third. Follow me?? I do know that Poleyina was Jr.s daughter (born in 1804) She married Charles Thompson (son of James B and Mary - NOT PROVEN!) I am having trouble placing Charles Thompson! Their children are as follows: Charles Washington Thompson B:1835 Nelson Co. William H Thompson B: Abt. 1830 Nelson Virginia Thompson B:Abt. 1838 Nelson Frances P Thompson B:Dec 1840 Nelson Angelina E Thompson B: Dec 1855 Nelson Walter Thompson B: Abt. 1860 I think I have the James Jr thing straight. With all the double naming it's very difficult to keep it straight. Anyone who knows for sure where Charles Thompson B: 1775 in Scottsville VA D: Bet 1859-1860 came from as far as parents I would LOVE some clairity. As far as I know his parents are James B and Mary (unknown) Thompson. Looking at it, it seems wrong, because as far as I know Polyina and Charles were cousins but I can fit it together.
