They also lived in Washington County Kentucky. John was born in Henrico County Virginia and grew up in Amherst County Virginia. Ann’s sister Nancy married Joseph Sweeney in Amherst County Virginia. John Clark and Joseph Sweeney were both Revolutionary War veterans. Ann and Nancy were the daughters of Ann Whitten but I don’t know the name of the father.
