My gggggrandfather Schuyler Hamilton was born 1787 in Amherst county. I joined the Hamilton Family DNA project a couple of years ago. However, I have only had one match and he does not know his background beyond 1880. I would love to see some more Hamilton males with roots to Amherst county join the project.
