I was recently passing through Amherst Va. I was at a restaurant having lunch and met the nicest lady. I told her I was doing research on the Hill family and she told me of the old Hill house in the town of Amherst. She said the Hill's owned a hardware store in Amherst. The store is still in operation but not by the Hill family. Is there anyone in the Amherst area that would know , if this is the family of Edward D. Hill. Thanks, Shirley Bragg
