Is St Marks Church still in existence? I am going to Amherst for research and would love to go see St. Marks Church. My 6th Great Grandfather, James Rowsey subscribed to the building fund for renovations on 3 Nov 1788. So you may understand my desire to see the church if it is still standing, I know it was renovated in the early 1800s. Can anyone tell me how far it is to Cabellsburg and the St Marks Church, from Amherst, VA.
