From what you posted, James Thompson would have been about 65 years when Lucas Thompson was born. While it is true that some men had "twilight year" infants, it would be more likely that Lucas was the grandson of James, or that his birthyear is wrong. Also, if George W. Thompson, Jr. was b. in 1861, who is George W. Thompson, Sr. and what is his relationship to Lucas?
