If Comcast is your Internet provider and you subscribe to this discussion list (Amherst County, VA) and/or other Rootsweb lists, it is possible you may not have received several of the messages posted in the past 24 hours. It seems Comcast added rootsweb.com to their spam blocker list. (Probably some ninny complained to them rather than unsubscribing properly.) I have not seen any bounce notices today, so it is possible the Rootsweb staff managed to convince Comcast all e-mail subscriptions are strictly opt-in.
