Samuel Lewis who was at Yorktown at the surrender of Cornwallis was the son of Brig. Gen Andrew Lewis. Samuel was 33 years old at that time and was actually a Lt. Col. He was a member of the Augusta Militia. Historians say he never married. Tucakoe was a nickname given to the people of that area and was not a true tribe of indians. Stanley
