I am researching for a National Register Nomination and these names have come up as owners of the land
There were apparently more than one Edward Ware on Virginia during the colonial years. Edward Ware received 10 land grants from 1703 through 1808 - mostly in Essex County but an Edward Ware obtained 5 patent land grants in Amherst County between 1763 and 1780 for a total of 1,175 acres - mainly on Horsley's Creek and Tobacco Row Mountain. I did not look up Clarkson or Young but you can find out about them from the Virginia State Library land records in Richmond.
