My ancestor, Josiah Davidson Abbott and wife, Sophronia Fair Crouse Abbott and family: daughter, Ann Crouse and son William D. Fair Abbott left Amherst County for California around that year. This family shows in the 1860 Fed. census in SanFrancisco. CA. Thanks
