Author: CARLAPAGE81 Surnames: page,ware,snell,via,crosslin,cooper,murray,bridgwater Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.virginia.counties.amherst/1336.4/mb.ashx Message Board Post: oh,alot of the families are buried in henry county and lafayette county in missouri,some in boone county,missouri.you all need to start contacting historical societies in saline,howard,henry,and lafayette counties to try and get records.also if you all get the chance to come here to missouri to the historical societies which have their own libraries,check the family vertical files,may families descendants have put vertical files so they can be researched.that is the very first thing you want to check when visiting historical societies.those fiels many times will tell how the families traveled and who they were with,and have family group sheets,letters,pictures,even journals or diaries.when land started opening up in oklahoma,may of the families went to oklahoma also.some of my PAGE families wound up in oklahoma,but i also have alot of them buried in the surrounding counties of saline,howard,henry,and lafayette counties in missouri.
