    3. Hello There Researchers:   I am researching African-Americans from Amherst County:   Richeson, Winston, Garland, Black, Stuart from the Peddlar area. Most helpful would be plantation information and a list of slaveowners and the names of their slaves.   Sincerely, Brenda Louise --- On Thu, 7/23/09, MARTIN Krystal A (AREVA NP INC) <Krystal.Martin@areva.com> wrote: From: MARTIN Krystal A (AREVA NP INC) <Krystal.Martin@areva.com> Subject: Re: [VAAMHERS] VAAMHERS Digest, Vol 4, Issue 95 To: vaamhers@rootsweb.com Date: Thursday, July 23, 2009, 2:54 PM I am starting to search for relatives in the MARTIN & MAYS(fathers side), DUNN, NUCHOLS, and NUCKLES (mothers side)line. I am pretty much bare minimum info just back to great grandparents. I am trying to find out the names of my grandfather's (HESTER DODD MARTIN) parents and siblings. I was told that they past way before my mother met my father so she does not recall their names. I figure if I can find their names I can start the search. I have not been to the court to research any info yet-any help would be appreciated. Krystal A. Martin Administrative Assistant Human Resources, Technology AREVA NP, INC. Each Johnson families have certain surnames that are moving in Known Travel Patterns with them, Example Ballengers are moving with Matlock families who are married into the Benjamin Johnson lines. William Johnson is moving with the Pace and Allied families of Middlesex Co. Va. The Sorrell families are moving with families associated with Michael Johnson died 1719 on Tuckahoe Creek Henrico Co. Va. Basically if you have a Brick wall research the Lands your Family lived on. Many of the Water ways in Nelson, Amherst, Albemarle trace back to Goochland Co. Get to know who lived beside them on these Creek, Rivers or Mountains in the deeds As that is who they are going to Marry and go off to war with.
