Fleming Hall Duncan and Sarah "Sally" Johns were my gggg-grandparents. Their first child was named John Richardson Duncan (b. June 1, 1799, Amherst Co., Va.) Sarah had an older sister, Mary J. Johns, who was married to John Richardson (1754-1798.) Could this John Richardson (Sarah's uncle) be the John Richeson mentioned (below) in the marriage record of Fleming Duncan and Sally Johns as Sally's guardian?
