Author: Midge1120 Surnames: Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.virginia.counties.amherst/2937.1.1.1/mb.ashx Message Board Post: Records for that time period in Amherst, especially for the area they lived (Pedlar/Elon) were not kept very well, but here are the names I found: Nannie - born 1887, parents Rich & Lucy S Rich - born 1884, parents Rich & Lucy Lucy - born 1893, parents Jhn R & Lucy R E - born 1895, parents Jno & Lucy I also took a look at the actual birth record for Geo H and the father could have been Jno R instead of N. The birth index is for 1854 to 1896, but there are years and pages missing or illegible, so there is a lot of missing data. I live in Amherst and volunteer with the historical society doing genealogy research. Let me know if I can help you with anything else.
